A few years ago I had a dream to travel the world but not as a common backpacker. I wanted to cross the oceans with a sailboat looking for freedom and adventures.

My grandfather dreamed about this journey, however he was never able to pursue it. Many people think that travelling the world with a sailing vessel is a fantasy that can never be accomplished without cash-flow...

Despite all negatives, in 2017 I dropped the mooring lines of my sailing vessel "Dötzi SINPRISA" and left their ordinary 9-5 job routine in Barcelona behind to start a new life on the ocean.

I was born in 1989 in Venezuela. Three years later my family moved to El Salvador and 4 years later to Portugal. Finally we based in Spain (Barcelona) where I grow up.

My family is a sailor family and I was only 6 years old when we traveled through the Caribbean Sea with a Sailing-vessel.

My Father bought a little 24ft. sailing-vessel in 1998 in Portugal (Lisbon). There we used to sail to the river many times.

After finishing my business degree, I begun to work for multinational companies. I learned a lot in that time but I never understood the actual society of consuming.

The society invented a mountain of superfluous needs. You have to keep buying, throwing away. It’s our lives we are squandering… When we buy something… We are paying the time of our lives we had to spend in earn that money.

After I worked a few years as “Export Manager”, I wondered if this would be everything in life. If life was about getting a bigger job and better salary…
